How to get to Southwold
From the south, Southwold lies one hour north of Ipswich off the
A12, turning right after Blythburgh onto the A1095. From Norwich,
take the A146 Beccles road then B1127 via Henstead, Hulver and
Wrentham. The nearest railway stations, approximately 20 minutes
drive by car, are Darsham, Halesworth and Lowestoft. Taxi services
are available from each station and bus services connect from
Halesworth and Lowestoft. There are also local buses from the
market towns of Beccles and Bungay.
